Vampire Nightmare

Finally Saturday. Today I went to the city centre and made a photo-walk, (by my self) I think I might try to organize some day one with more people. I just need to find people From stuttgart who likes photography.
One interesting place was the Market that happens only on some Saturdays and since this week it was about Vegetables I must say I found many of them, Lots of colours and different types of fruits and vegetables.
I made several pictures, and then I decided to post the one that in my opinion was somehow different.
Tomatoes are Red, Onions are White. almost everything has its own colour. and for me Garlic was always white... or somehow yellow. Now I know there is also violet.
Which is your favourite Vegetable?  If you are a vampire... I am sure this will definitely not be it.

Ni Pa' mis chiles.

Today I found myself in an embarrassing situation. I went to work but I forgot to take my wallet with me.
I did not find that out until late on the afternoon when I was hungry enough to go get something to eat.
I was supposed to go to the supermarket to buy something for the complete week and obviously I could'nt.

The worst part of it was that I was really hungry... and with no access to my wallet until 10:00pm.
since I was going to go the supermarket, I had in the trunk a bag full of empty bottles that I need to return. Thank god that because of recycling policies, you get 25cts for each one.. And I had enough to buy me a "Döner".

This "Chiles" are only something I found on that place. they look nice but does not taste that good. so instead of taking some of them with me... I just take the picture.

Around the Corner

I have read that in photography it is sometimes good break the rules. So, on this Week of Vegetables... if you ask me where are the Vegetables on this pictue... I will tell you that they are arround the corner. you can find almost anything there. but at night the store is usually closed.

Canon EOS 500D 33mm f/16 (10"+ Flash) ISO 200

I was making some experiments with the exposure, and since I was not able to get the clear image of the pipe and the water with long exposure.. I decided to use the Flash... In this case I got the pipes but lost the background.. So.. I thought...... What if I make Long Exposure + Flash. to get both parts of the image exposed as I wanted... Well This is the result. I hope you like it.

Cabbage Patch

On the moning I went to LIDL to buy some Vegetables to be able to take a picture for today. I was amazed by the texture of this weird Lettuce ( which I have never eaten before ) It is amazing what you can find in the super market, when you look for a specific thing instead of going like robot to buy what you have in mind.

I dont know its name, at the supermarket it said "Chineese Lettuce" but I am not sure. All the day I was thinking on what kind of picture I wanted for today. I must say I did lots of shots on this one. But At the end... while surfing on the web... I found this guys and remember them..  to tell the truth I allways hate Cabbage Patch.... But this time I found it funny enough to try to reproduce one of them.

I hope that I can steal one smile or laugh... maybe two...    This little guy sole from me many!!

Captive Spirits

Today I went for a walk and found a Jail nearby. I did not know you can get that close to it, and I saw a lot of people walking and jogging around. While walking at the middle of this road it caught my attention, the sounds and voices you can hear on the other side of the wall. It really sound like some Captive Spirits willing to go out some day. and most of them will. soon.

Historical Facts: This is the JVA Stammheim, this prison was a high security prison holding some of the the terrorists involved in the attacks in the 70's.
I said they will come out soon, because this prison is no longer a high security one, instead it is a "short term" prison for people who get less than 12 months.

A movie that I would like to recomend about this, is "Der Baader Meinhof Komplex".
Worth seeing it  :-) !!
